Job Description:

The Kitchen Manager will oversee daily kitchen operations, including food purchasing, preparation, and maintaining product consistency. Responsibilities include ensuring quality, cleanliness, and standards of all BOH functions, managing staff, controlling costs, and ensuring safety and sanitation compliance.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and evaluations
  • Oversee food purchasing, inventory, and cost management
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Implement and maintain recipes and presentation standards
  • Maintain kitchen equipment and address maintenance issues
  • Coordinate with front-of-house for smooth operations
  • Seek continuous improvement in kitchen efficiency and processes

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Kitchen Manager or similar leadership role in a high-volume restaurant
  • Strong knowledge of food prep, kitchen management, and BOH operations
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Attention to detail and commitment to high standards
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Problem-solving skills and proactive approach
  • ServSafe Manager certification and knowledge of health regulations
