Position: Kitchen Manager

Kitchen Manager Responsibilities Include:
LEADERSHIP: Leading and mentoring your team to create an awesome work environment
QUALITY + SAFETY: Ensuring food quality, clean and sanitary work spaces, team and guest safety, and adherence to COVID-19 protocols
CUSTOMER SERVICE: Ensuring high quality, welcoming, and efficient service for our guests
TEAM MANAGEMENT: Leading and supervising Assistant Team leaders, Captains, Kitchen Managers, and Team Members with order taking, cooking and food prep.
SHIFT LEADERSHIP: Independently leading shifts
OPENING/CLOSING/OPERATIONS: Ensure proper opening, closing, and daily operations
FOOD PREP: Supporting Captains and Kitchen Managers in oversight of daily food prep
WEEKLY MAINTENANCE: Supporting Captains and Kitchen Managers in oversight of weekly cleaning and maintenance procedures
FINANCIAL ACUMEN: Responsible for hitting COGS, labor and profitability targets.
TRAINING: Training of Team Members in station procedures, as needed
Other responsibilities as necessary
REPORT TO: Director of Operations
Job Qualifications:
Positive, professional, dependable, and friendly -- with demonstrated leadership ability
Exceptional skill with each kitchen station
Top-notch problem solving ability
Unmatched reliability
Great communication skills and attention to detail
Flexibility to work all shifts
Able to be on your feet throughout shift and lift and carry up to 25 pounds
Previous hospitality and/or food service experience a plus but not required (all training provided)
Enthusiasm for working with the team to create a safe, clean, fun and rewarding workplace at all times
