Job summary

Chick-fil-A in New York is seeking a Kitchen Manager to lead daily kitchen operations in a fast-paced environment. You will coach team members, manage inventory, and ensure food is prepared to Chick-fil-A standards while maintaining a clean, safe kitchen.

Role requires initiative, strong character, and a servant’s heart to uphold our core values. The position offers both full-time and part-time schedules with opportunities for growth and development within the restaurant leadership team.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, cook, assemble, and present food safely, quickly and efficiently, meeting Chick-fil-A standards
  • Be knowledgeable of the assignments for all kitchen stations, including fries, breading, assembling, boards, and food prep
  • Stock kitchen inventory as needed
  • Keep the kitchen neat, clean and orderly at all times
  • Keep up-to-date with new products rolled out by Chick-fil-A
  • Work safely around kitchen equipment and report any maintenance issues to Leadership
  • Maintain personal knowledge by completing in-house training and stay up-to-date on any changes
  • Complete all opening or closing tasks as assigned
  • Adhere to Chick-fil-A rules and dress code at all times
  • Participating operationally in day-to-day activities in high-volume, fast-paced Restaurant
  • Offer immediate and respectful response to Guest's needs
  • Assist in training of new hires, set the tone for a shift, and act as a role model for our team
  • Responsible for inventory, ordering and waste management
  • Be a friendly, encouraging team player
  • Open and/or close, lead shifts, key holder
  • Other duties as assigned

Managers lead by example and set the tone that others will follow.
