Texas Roadhouse is looking for a legendary Kitchen Manager to oversee all Back of House operations and be responsible for purchasing, receiving, preparing, and presenting all food products in a timely manner, according to established recipes, and procedures. As a Kitchen Manager, Your Responsibilities Would Include
  1. Supervising and overseeing the production and preparation of food in a manner consistent with established recipes and procedures.
  2. Enforcing compliance with all employment policies and overseeing cleanliness and safety in the restaurant.
  3. Monitoring and maintaining efficient food ticket times.
  4. Managing performance of Back of House employees, including evaluations, coaching, and discipline.
  5. Developing key employees through daily feedback during one-on-ones.
  6. Conducting formal Taste & Temp checks as part of inventory and safety responsibilities.
  7. Overseeing proper handling, maintenance, and storage of all items.
  8. Practicing safe food handling procedures.
  9. Managing food costs, tracking waste, and controlling kitchen labor costs.
  10. Setting work hours, weekly schedules, and task assignments for Back of House staff.
  11. Training employees on equipment maintenance and cleaning.
  12. Participating in hiring processes for Back of House staff.
  13. Creating a safe, fun, and clean work environment aligned with our core values.
