Base Pay Range

$60,000.00/yr - $65,000.00/yr

Position Overview

We are seeking a Kitchen Manager for our new store in Portsmouth, NH. The Kitchen Manager oversees the back of the house, leads the kitchen team, plans and creates seasonal menu items, and manages kitchen costs.

Responsibilities
  1. Oversee food production planning and preparation according to department standards.
  2. Manage inventory and ordering within budget.
  3. Conduct equipment inspections and maintain safety and hygiene standards.
  4. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food handling regulations.
  5. Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen areas.
  6. Prepare operational reports and documentation.
  7. Collaborate on menu development with the General Manager.
  8. Hire, train, and mentor kitchen staff.
  9. Organize staff schedules and conduct performance evaluations.
  10. Promote a positive work environment through leadership and counseling.
  11. Handle customer complaints and resolve issues courteously.
