Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill in Abington Township, PA is seeking a Kitchen Leader to learn how to prepare great food, grill meats, and sauté vegetables, while training Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders. You will ensure food quality, safety, and a positive guest experience on a fast-paced line, guiding teamwork across back and front of house.

You will help maintain a clean, stocked kitchen, mentor staff, and uphold Chipotle’s standards to deliver outstanding service and quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Restaurant experience preferred.
• Ability to understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring food quality by cooking and prepping food to order, and following kitchen procedures.
• Monitoring food waste and inventory levels, and resolving food quality issues.
• Supporting a strong team dynamic between back of house Crew and front of house Crew.
• Developing Crew members to be future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicating with Crew members and customers effectively to ensure great customer service and throughput.
• Ensuring the kitchen is properly cleaned and sanitized.
• Monitoring kitchen equipment and ensuring it is kept in good repair; quickly repairing malfunctioning equipment.
• Ensuring the kitchen and Crew meet safety guidelines to prevent injuries.
• Filling out MSDS and Inventory Rotation (FIFO).
