Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader to learn and perform food preparation, grill meats, and sauté vegetables while ensuring delicious results. You will train Crew to become future Kitchen Leaders and promote teamwork to deliver a top-notch customer experience.

You will manage quality and safety, keep the kitchen clean and stocked, monitor waste and inventory, and assist in maintaining equipment.

Qualifications

• Must understand Chipotle's Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Must be able to speak, write, and understand the primary language of the work location.
• High school diploma required.
• Restaurant experience required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare great food, grill meats, and sauté vegetables to order.
• Ensure food quality and safety in daily operations.
• Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and well stocked; maintain equipment.
• Promote teamwork between back of house and front of house Crew.
• Develop Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate effectively with Crew members and customers to ensure great service.
• Ensure proper cleaning, sanitization, and adherence to safety guidelines.
• Monitor inventory and wear on equipment; troubleshoot maintenance needs.
