Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill in New Jersey is seeking a Kitchen Leader who will learn to prepare great food, grill meats, and sauté vegetables. You will train others, ensure food quality and safety, and promote teamwork to deliver a great customer experience.

Responsibilities include maintaining a clean, well-stocked kitchen, monitoring equipment, and supporting both back- and front-of-house crews to achieve goals and throughput.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• Restaurant experience preferred.
• Ability to understand and articulate Chipotle's Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food to order following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor inventory, control waste, and resolve quality issues.
• Train Crew to become future Kitchen Leaders.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and proper equipment upkeep.
• Collaborate with back-of-house and front-of-house teams.
• Fill MSDS and FIFO records as needed.
