Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader to train Crew and lead daily operations in preparing great food to order, maintaining quality, safety, and a clean, stocked kitchen. You’ll supervise food prep, monitor inventory, and mentor teammates to become future Kitchen Leaders, while delivering a outstanding guest experience.

The role emphasizes teamwork, staying on your feet to meet station goals, and upholding Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.

Qualifications

• Articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Speak, write, and understand the primary language of the work location.
• Have a high school diploma.
• Have restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure food quality by cooking and prepping food to order following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory levels and resolve food quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back of house and front of house Crew.
• Develop Crew members to be future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate with Crew members and customers to ensure great service and throughput.
• Ensure the kitchen is cleaned and sanitized; monitor equipment and repairs.
• Ensure safety guidelines are followed to prevent injuries or accidents.
• Complete Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and Inventory Rotation (FIFO).
