Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill in Spartanburg, SC is seeking a Kitchen Leader to learn and supervise food preparation, grill meats, and sauté vegetables, ensuring delicious results and safe, clean, well-stocked kitchens.

You’ll guide Crew members, train future Kitchen Leaders, and collaborate with back-of-house and front-of-house teams to deliver a great guest experience while meeting station goals and maintaining a fast, friendly service flow.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Restaurant experience required.
• Ability to train others and develop Crew into leaders.
• Commitment to Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prep food to order following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food quality, waste, and inventory; resolve issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back-of-house and front-of-house Crews.
• Develop Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate effectively with Crew and customers to ensure great service.
• Ensure kitchen cleanliness and sanitation.
• Maintain equipment and safety guidelines to prevent injuries.
• Document MSDS and FIFO as needed.
