Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is hiring a Kitchen Leader in Waltham, MA. You will learn to prepare great food, grill meats, and sauté vegetables, while training others to become Kitchen Leaders. You’ll ensure quality and safety of food daily, keep the kitchen clean and stocked, and model teamwork for the Crew.

Responsibilities include cooking to order, monitoring inventory and waste, and promoting a positive customer experience. You’ll help Crew members grow and maintain high kitchen standards.

Qualifications

• Food safety knowledge and ability to follow kitchen procedures.
• Strong teamwork and communication to support back- and front-of-house crews.
• Commitment to delivering quality, appetizing food.
• Basic understanding of inventory, sanitation, and MSDS handling.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food to order, following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor inventory and food waste; resolve quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back of house and front of house crews.
• Develop crew members to be future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate effectively with crew and customers to ensure excellent service.
• Keep kitchen clean, organized, and properly stocked; maintain equipment.
