Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc. in Marlborough, MA is seeking a Kitchen Leader to learn how to prepare great food, grill meats and sauté vegetables, while training others to become future Kitchen Leaders.

You will promote teamwork, maintain food quality and safety, and ensure the kitchen stays clean, organized and well stocked, while supporting both back-of-house and front-of-house teams to deliver a great guest experience.

Qualifications

• Have the ability to understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Have the knowledge and ability to speak, write, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location.
• Have a high school diploma.
• Have restaurant experience

Responsibilities

• Ensure food quality by cooking and prepping food to order and following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory levels and resolve food quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back of house Crew and front of house Crew.
• Develop Crew members to be future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate effectively with Crew members and customers to ensure great service and throughput.
• Ensure the kitchen is cleaned and sanitized.
• Monitor kitchen equipment and ensure repairs as needed.
• Ensure that the kitchen and Crew meet safety guidelines and prevent injuries.
• Filling out MSDS and FIFO procedures
