Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is hiring a Kitchen Leader to learn and supervise food preparation, grill meats, and sauté vegetables to deliver absolutely delicious meals. You will order food, train Crew members, and promote teamwork to create a great customer experience.

You will help maintain quality, safety, cleanliness, and inventory while leading by example on the floor. The role emphasizes teamwork, coaching, and hands-on leadership to develop future Kitchen Leaders and ensure smooth restaurant

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Restaurant experience preferred.
• Ability to understand and articulate Chipotle's Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Ability to speak, write, and understand the primary language of the work location.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prep food to order following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory; resolve quality issues.
• Support a strong back-of-house and front-of-house team dynamic.
• Develop crew members to be future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate effectively with crew and customers to ensure great service.
• Keep kitchen clean, sanitized, and well-maintained equipment; ensure safety.
• Ensure MSDS and FIFO practices are followed.
