Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader in Ormond Beach, FL to learn and oversee food preparation, ensure quality and safety, and train Crew to become future Kitchen Leaders. You will manage ordering, stock, and equipment, while promoting teamwork and delivering a great customer experience.

You will lead by example on the line, keep the kitchen clean and organized, and mentor Crew members to advance within the restaurant.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Restaurant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure food quality by cooking and prepping food to order and following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory; resolve food quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back of house and front of house Crews.
• Develop Crew members to be future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate with Crew members and customers to ensure great service and throughput.
• Ensure kitchen cleanliness and sanitation; maintain equipment in good repair.
• Ensure compliance with safety guidelines to prevent injuries.
• Fill out MSDS and FIFO inventories.
