Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader in Lakeland, FL to learn and supervise food prep, grilling meats, and sautéing vegetables while ensuring delicious, safe meals. You will train Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders and model teamwork to deliver an outstanding customer experience.

Responsibilities include maintaining kitchen cleanliness, inventory, and equipment, while promoting Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy to guests.

Qualifications

• Have a high school diploma
• Have restaurant experience

Responsibilities

• Ensure food quality by cooking and prepping food to order, following kitchen procedures
• Monitor food waste and inventory levels, and resolve food quality issues
• Support a strong team dynamic between back of house Crew and front of house Crew
• Develop Crew members to be future Kitchen Leaders
• Communicate with Crew members and customers effectively to ensure great service and throughput
• Ensure kitchen is cleaned and sanitized
• Monitor kitchen equipment and ensure it is kept in good repair
• Ensure safety guidelines are followed and injuries prevented
• Complete MSDS and FIFO documentation as required
