Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is hiring a Kitchen Leader in Trenton, NJ. You will learn to prepare great food, grill meats, and sauté vegetables, while training others to become future Kitchen Leaders.

You’ll ensure food quality, safety, and a clean, well-stocked kitchen, and promote teamwork to deliver an excellent customer experience. The role emphasizes hands-on cooking, leadership development, and consistent operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Restaurant experience preferred.
• Able to understand Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prep food to order following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory; resolve quality issues.
• Support a strong back-of-house and front-of-house team dynamic.
• Develop Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate effectively with Crew members and customers.
• Keep the kitchen clean, sanitized, and stocked.
• Ensure equipment is maintained and repaired quickly.
• Maintain safety guidelines to prevent injuries.
• Complete MSDS and FIFO documentation.
