Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill in Forked River, NJ is seeking a Kitchen Leader to train and guide crew in preparing great food, grilling meats, and maintaining a clean, well-stocked kitchen. You will also supervise food safety, kitchen operations, and teamwork to deliver an outstanding customer experience.

The role emphasizes developing Crew members into future Kitchen Leaders, maintaining equipment, and upholding safety standards while helping the team meet station goals and service throughput.

Qualifications

• Restaurant experience is required.
• High school diploma required.
• Ability to speak, write, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location.

Responsibilities

• Follow Chipotle policies and procedures while preparing food to order and following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food quality, waste and inventory; resolve quality issues.
• Support a strong back-of-house and front-of-house team dynamic.
• Develop Crew members to be future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate effectively with Crew members and customers to ensure great service and throughput.
• Ensure kitchen cleanliness and sanitation, equipment maintenance and safety compliance.
