Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader to learn and perform food preparation, grill meats, and sauté vegetables while ensuring delicious results. You will also order supplies and train Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders.

The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, cleanliness, and maintaining equipment, with a focus on delivering a great customer experience and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Have the ability to understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Have the knowledge and ability to speak, write, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location.
• High school diploma required; restaurant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prep food to order following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory; resolve quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back-of-house and front-of-house crews.
• Develop Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate with Crew members and customers to ensure great service.
• Ensure the kitchen is clean and sanitized.
• Maintain equipment and arrange repairs when needed.
• Follow MSDS and FIFO procedures.
