Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill in the United States seeks a Kitchen Leader to learn how to prepare great food, grill meats, and sauté vegetables. You will order the food and train future Kitchen Leaders.

The Kitchen Leader helps ensure the quality and safety of Chipotle’s delicious food every day, keeping the kitchen clean, organized and well stocked, and equipment maintained. As a role model for Crew members, you promote teamwork and a great customer experience.

Qualifications

• Have the ability to understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Have the knowledge and ability to speak, write, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location.
• Have a high school diploma.
• Have restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Following Chipotle’s policies and procedures while performing duties.
• Cook and prep food to order, maintain kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory, resolve quality issues.
• Support team dynamics between back of house and front of house.
• Develop Crew members to be future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate effectively with Crew members and customers to ensure great service.
• Keep the kitchen clean, sanitized, and well stocked.
• Maintain equipment and arrange repairs as needed.
• Ensure safety guidelines to prevent injuries or accidents.
