Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc. is seeking a Kitchen Leader who will learn to prepare great food, grill meats, and sauté vegetables while training others to become future Kitchen Leaders.

You will ensure quality and safety, keep the kitchen clean, stocked, and well-maintained, and serve as a role model for Crew members to promote teamwork and a great customer experience. On clock, you’ll stay active across stations, help your teammates meet goals, and take on tasks that need doing.

Qualifications

• Understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Ability to speak, write, and understand the primary language of the work location.
• Restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prep food to order following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory; resolve quality issues.
• Support strong team dynamic between back-of-house and front-of-house.
• Develop Crew members to be future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate with Crew members and customers to ensure great service and throughput.
• Ensure the kitchen is cleaned and sanitized.
• Monitor kitchen equipment and ensure it is kept in good repair; repair if needed.
• Ensure safety guidelines to prevent injuries or accidents.
• Fill out MSDS and FIFO inventory sheets.
