Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc. is seeking a Kitchen Leader to learn how to prepare great food, grill meats, and sauté vegetables. You will be responsible for ensuring our food is delicious, ordering food, and training Crew to become future Kitchen Leaders.

You will help maintain food quality, safety, cleanliness, and well-stocked equipment. Throughout the shift you model teamwork and drive a strong customer experience, while helping Crew stay focused on goals.

Qualifications

• Understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Speak, write, and understand the primary language of the work location.
• Have a high school diploma.
• Have restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prep food to order following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food quality and inventory; resolve issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic back- and front-of-house.
• Develop Crew members to be future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate with Crew and customers to ensure great service.
• Ensure kitchen is cleaned and sanitized.
• Maintain equipment and repair as needed.
• Ensure safety guidelines to prevent injuries.
• Fill out MSDS and FIFO inventories.
