Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill in Springfield, MO is seeking a Kitchen Leader to learn to prepare great food, grill meats, and sauté vegetables while ensuring delicious, safe food and efficient service.

You will lead Crew members, maintain kitchen quality, train future Kitchen Leaders, and promote a positive customer experience in a fast-paced environment. The role includes tuition support, free food, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Speak, write, and understand the primary language of the work location.
• High school diploma required.
• Restaurant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prep food to order, following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory; address quality issues.
• Support teamwork between back-of-house and front-of-house Crews.
• Develop Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate effectively with Crew and customers to ensure great service.
• Keep kitchen clean and sanitized.
• Monitor equipment and arrange repairs promptly.
• Ensure safety guidelines are followed to prevent injuries.
• Fill out MSDS and FIFO forms.
