Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill in Springfield, VA is seeking a Kitchen Leader to learn to prepare great food, grill meats, and sauté vegetables while promoting teamwork and delivering a great customer experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required
• Restaurant experience required

Responsibilities

• Follow Chipotle policies and procedures; assist in preparing and cooking food to order
• Monitor food waste and inventory; resolve food quality issues
• Support a strong team dynamic between back of house and front of house
• Develop Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders
• Communicate with Crew members and customers to ensure great service and throughput
• Keep the kitchen clean and sanitized
• Monitor equipment and ensure it is in good repair
• Ensure safety guidelines to prevent injuries
• Complete MSDS and FIFO inventory processes
