Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader to train crews, cook to order, and ensure delicious, safe food is prepared consistently. You’ll manage stock, maintain equipment, and model teamwork to deliver a great customer experience.

On the floor, you’ll supervise back-of-house and front-of-house crews, uphold cleanliness, monitor quality, and coach future Kitchen Leaders while keeping pace with fast-service demands.

Qualifications

• Must have at least a high school diploma.
• Restaurant experience required.
• Ability to understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prep food to order following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory levels, resolving quality issues.
• Develop Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate effectively with Crew members and customers to ensure great service and throughput.
• Keep kitchen clean, sanitized, and well stocked; maintain equipment in good repair.
• Ensure safety guidelines are followed to prevent injuries or accidents.
• Fill out MSDS and manage FIFO inventory.
