Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is hiring a Kitchen Leader to oversee food preparation, quality, and safety in a fast-paced kitchen. You will train Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders and ensure the kitchen runs smoothly, cleanly, and safely while delivering a great guest experience.

In this role you will manage food quality, inventory, and equipment, while promoting teamwork and efficient throughput across both back‑of‑house and front‑of‑house teams.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to lead a kitchen team to deliver high quality food.
• Strong communication skills with Crew and customers.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prep food to order following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory; resolve quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back of house and front of house crews.
• Develop Crew members to be future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate effectively to ensure great customer service and throughput.
• Ensure kitchen cleanliness and sanitation.
• Maintain and promptly repair kitchen equipment.
• Ensure safety guidelines to prevent injuries.
• Complete MSDS and FIFO records as required.
