Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader to learn and supervise all aspects of food preparation, grilling meats, and sautéing vegetables. You will ensure delicious food, proper stocking, and equipment maintenance while training Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders.

As a Kitchen Leader, you will promote teamwork and a great customer experience, stay busy fulfilling station goals, and support a safe, clean, and efficient kitchen environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Restaurant experience required.
• Ability to promote teamwork and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Follow Chipotle policies and procedures to prepare food and maintain kitchen standards.
• Cook and prep food to order while ensuring quality and safety.
• Monitor inventory and reduce waste to keep the kitchen stocked and efficient.
• Develop Crew members into future Kitchen Leaders through coaching and mentorship.
• Communicate effectively with Crew and customers to ensure great service and throughput.
• Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and sanitized at all times.
• Maintain equipment and report malfunctions promptly for quick repairs.
• Ensure all crew comply with safety guidelines to prevent injuries or accidents.
• Complete MSDS and FIFO records as required.
