Chipotle Mexican Grill in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Kitchen Leader to master food preparation, grill meats, and sauté vegetables while upholding our Food With Integrity standards. You’ll train Crew, order supplies, and help develop future Kitchen Leaders to deliver a legendary guest experience.

In this role you’ll lead by example on safety, cleanliness and teamwork, ensuring quality and efficiency across the kitchen and dining area.

Qualifications

• Must understand Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• High school diploma and restaurant experience required.
• Ability to communicate effectively with Crew members and customers.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring food quality by cooking and prepping food to order, and following kitchen procedures.
• Monitoring food waste and inventory levels, and resolving food quality issues.
• Supporting a strong team dynamic between back of house Crew and front of house Crew.
• Developing Crew members to be future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicating with Crew members and customers effectively to ensure great customer service and throughput.
• Ensuring the kitchen is properly cleaned and sanitized.
• Monitoring kitchen equipment and ensuring it is kept in good repair; repairing malfunctioning equipment quickly.
• Ensuring the kitchen and all Crew members meet safety guidelines to prevent injuries or accidents.
• Filling out MSDS and FIFO Inventory rotations.
