Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader to learn how to prepare great food, grill meats, and sauté vegetables. You will order the food and train others to become future Kitchen Leaders.

The Kitchen Leader helps ensure the quality and safety of our food every day, keeping the kitchen clean, organized, and well stocked while maintaining equipment and safety standards. Your role promotes teamwork and delivering an excellent customer experience.

Qualifications

• Have a high school diploma.
• Have restaurant experience.
• Have the ability to understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.

Responsibilities

• Ensure food quality by cooking and prepping food to order and following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory levels and resolve quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back of house and front of house Crew.
• Develop Crew members to be future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate with Crew members and customers effectively to ensure great service and throughput.
• Keep the kitchen clean, organized and well stocked and ensure equipment is maintained.
