Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader to learn and perform food preparation, grill meats, and sauté vegetables. You will order food, train future Kitchen Leaders, and ensure quality and safety in a fast-paced environment.

You will promote teamwork, maintain cleanliness, stock levels, and equipment condition while leading Crew members toward outstanding customer experiences and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Speak, read, and write the primary language of the work location.
• High school diploma required.
• Restaurant experience required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare great food by cooking and prepping to order following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory levels; resolve quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back-of-house and front-of-house Crew.
• Develop Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate effectively with Crew members and customers to ensure great service.
• Keep kitchen clean, sanitized, and well stocked; maintain equipment.
• Ensure safety guidelines and prevent injuries; complete MSDS and FIFO as required.
