Job summary

Casey’s General Store is seeking a Kitchen Manager to lead kitchen operations with hands-on leadership. You will train and engage Team Members, manage inventory, uphold 5S standards, and ensure exceptional guest service in prepared foods and dispensed beverages.

You will work with the Store Manager to drive productivity, profitability, and a positive guest experience while modeling Casey’s CARES values and supporting the store leadership team.

Qualifications

• Experience leading kitchen teams in a retail or food service setting.
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen sanitation.
• Ability to train, guide, and coach team members to deliver great guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• Actively train, guide, and engage kitchen Team Members, delegate tasks effectively, and coach for success.
• Under supervision, manage and influence kitchen activities in prepared foods and beverages to optimize performance.
• Partner with Store Manager to be accountable for all kitchen activities, maintain 5S standards, and ensure smooth daily operations.
• Oversee kitchen inventory and maintain accurate stock levels.
• Anticipate and resolve guest concerns related to kitchen service.
