Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is hiring a Kitchen Leader to learn great food preparation, grilling, and sautéing while supervising food quality and safety. You will order food, train Crew to become future Kitchen Leaders, and help maintain a clean, well-stocked kitchen with safe equipment and strong teamwork.

Responsibilities include cooking to order, monitoring waste, and coaching Crew for excellent customer experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Restaurant experience required.
• Ability to understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Ability to speak/write/understand the primary language(s) of the work location.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prep food to order following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory, resolve quality issues.
• Support a strong back-of-house and front-of-house team dynamic.
• Develop Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate effectively with Crew and customers to ensure great service.
• Keep the kitchen clean and sanitized and ensure equipment is in good repair.
• Ensure safety guidelines are met and MSDS/FIFO practices are followed.
