Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is hiring a Kitchen Leader in Suffolk, VA. You will learn to prepare great food, grill meats, and sauté vegetables while training others to become future Kitchen Leaders.

Maintain food quality, safety, and cleanliness; keep equipment in good condition and lead by example in a fast-paced kitchen. You’ll foster teamwork between back-of-house and front-of-house crews, ensure excellent customer service, and help achieve station goals throughout shifts.

Qualifications

• Understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Speak, write, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location.
• High school diploma required.
• Restaurant experience required.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prep food to order, follow kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food quality and inventory; resolve quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back of house and front of house crews.
• Develop crew members to be future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate effectively with crew and customers to ensure great service.
• Keep kitchen clean, organized, and well stocked; maintain equipment.
• Ensure safety guidelines and prevent injuries or accidents.
• Complete MSDS and FIFO documentation as needed.
