Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader to train staff, oversee food preparation, and ensure quality, safety, and efficiency in a fast-paced kitchen. You will order supplies, train future Kitchen Leaders, and model teamwork to deliver an outstanding guest experience.

Responsibilities include cooking to order, monitoring waste, coordinating with front and back of house teams, and maintaining cleanliness and safety standards across the kitchen.

Qualifications

• Understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Ability to speak, write, and understand the primary language of the work location.
• High school diploma.
• Restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food to order following Chipotle procedures.
• Monitor food quality, inventory, and waste; ensure safe handling.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back of house and front of house Crew.
• Develop Crew members to be future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate effectively with Crew members and customers to ensure great service.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen and equipment.
• Ensure safety guidelines to prevent injuries and accidents.
• Assist in training and mentoring newer Crew members.
