The Opportunity

As Kitchen Leader, you will learn to prepare great food, grill meats, and sauté vegetables. You will ensure our food is delicious, manage food orders, and train future Kitchen Leaders.

The Kitchen Leader ensures the quality and safety of our food daily. Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness, organization, stock levels, equipment maintenance, and serving as a role model for Crew members to develop into future leaders. The role promotes teamwork and a great customer experience, with a focus on accomplishing goals, assisting teammates, and maintaining safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Follow policies and procedures to ensure food quality and safety.
  2. Monitor food waste, inventory, and resolve quality issues.
  3. Support team dynamics between back and front of house.
  4. Develop Crew members for leadership roles.
  5. Communicate effectively with Crew and customers.
  6. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards.
  7. Ensure equipment is in good repair and functioning properly.
  8. Adhere to safety guidelines to prevent injuries.
  9. Complete safety documentation and inventory rotation.
Qualifications
  • Ability to understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
  • Proficiency in the primary language(s) of the work location.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Restaurant experience preferred.
