Job summary

Thirsty Turtle Seagrill is seeking a cook to deliver high quality, great tasting food in a fast-paced, high-volume setting. You will ensure proper food safety and sanitation, manage prep to cook, and maintain consistency while delivering an ethical, fair environment for the team and guests.

Responsibilities include following recipes, preparing ingredients, and coordinating food orders to support timely service. Prior experience helps, and flexible, safety-conscious teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Food Handler Certification is required.
• Knowledge of customer service principles.
• Prior hospitality/food industry experience is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Follow recipes and presentation guidelines for high quality food items.
• Prepare ingredients and stations used in cooking.
• Cut or slice cheese, meat, poultry, and seafood for cooking.
• Wash, peel, and cut foods for cooking or serving.
• Assist with prep tasks and manage prep lists for timely service.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards to ensure guest safety.
• Meet guest special requests with high quality standards.
• Stock kitchen supplies and maintain clean, safe work areas.
• Inform management when equipment is not working or supplies are low.
