Maui Brewing Co. Kailua is seeking top-notch back-of-house team members to join our craft ‘ohana!

Location: Maui Brewing Co. Kailua. Status: Full-Time or Part-Time. Pay rate: $24–$26/hour plus tips, with DailyPay access. You will supervise daily kitchen operations, ensure food safety, manage inventory, train staff, and collaborate on menus.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen.
• Experience with fry, oven, grill, sauté, pantry and pizza stations.
• Proven supervisory or lead role in a kitchen setting.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices.
• Open availability including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily kitchen operations to ensure timely and quality food preparation.
• Maintain strict adherence to food safety and sanitation standards per local and federal regulations.
• Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and minimize waste to control food costs.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate kitchen team members to promote skill development and high performance.
• Collaborate with management to plan menus, implement new recipes, and adjust kitchen operations as needed.
• Monitor kitchen equipment and facilities to ensure proper maintenance and functionality.
• Resolve operational issues or conflicts within the kitchen promptly and professionally.

Pay Rate:$24–$26/hour + tips (AND get early access to your wages before payday through DailyPay)

Tips:All kitchen team members also receive tips (service fee - 2% of all food sales) added to their paycheck adding an additional $1-$3 per hour. The average total hourly rate for this role with tips is $21.00 - $24.00.

Summary of Job Responsibilities:

Summary of Qualifications:

• Experience with ALL of the following stations: Fry, Oven, Grill, Saute, Pantry, Pizza
• Proven experience in a supervisory or lead role within a kitchen setting.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper sanitation practices.
• Open availability and ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Good time management and attention to detail
• Positive attitude and ability to follow direction
• Reliable and able to work scheduled shifts
• Additional $1-$3 per hour in tips (dependent on shift & sales)
