Job summary

Valor is seeking a dependable dishwasher to maintain sanitary kitchen and dishroom areas in a fast-paced dining environment in Cincinnati, OH. You will assist with dish preparation, load and operate the automatic dishwashing system, and ensure cleanliness of all dishes, pots, and utensils for staff use.

Work includes manual scrubbing of pots/pans, daily cleaning of work surfaces, and adherence to health compliance standards. Prior kitchen experience is a plus; high school or equivalent required.

Qualifications

• Some high school education or equivalent experience.
• Previous experience preferred.
• Ability to read meters and controls.
• Dexterity to handle dishes and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Gathers dirty dishware and clears leftovers for washing.
• Loads dish racks and operates automatic dishwashing equipment.
• Inspects cleanliness and stacks dishes for staff use.
• Scrubs pots and pans manually when needed.
• Maintains cleanliness of kitchen and dish room and enforces health compliance.
