Job summary

Moerlein Lager House is seeking a Dishwasher for our Cincinnati location to ensure timely cleaning of dishes, utensils, and cookware to support the kitchen team.

Responsibilities include operating dishwashing equipment, maintaining a clean station, and following health and safety guidelines in a high-volume restaurant. Previous kitchen experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous restaurant or commercial kitchen experience is advantageous
• Familiarity with standard kitchen safety and sanitation procedures
• Ability to operate dishwashing machinery efficiently and safely
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Purpose

• The Dishwasher at MLH CINCINNATI USA LLC plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our restaurant's kitchen area. This position ensures that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are cleaned promptly and efficiently to support the smooth operation of our culinary team.

Key Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using dishwashers or by hand.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area.
• Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and sanitized according to health and safety standards.
• Assist with the disposal of waste and recycling materials.
• Monitor dishwashing supplies and report any inventory needs to the supervisor.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient cleaning during peak hours.
• Follow all company policies and procedures regarding hygiene and safety.
• Perform additional cleaning tasks as assigned by the kitchen manager.

Qualifications

Required Education

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Required Experience

• Previous experience in a restaurant or commercial kitchen is advantageous
