Mi Cocina Preston Forest in Dallas, TX is seeking a Dishwasher to wash and sanitize tableware, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment, keeping the dish room clean and ready for service. You will load and operate dishwashing machines, monitor chemicals, and ensure the readiness of supplies for busy service periods.

Responsibilities include inspecting cleaned items, restocking, maintaining a sanitary work area, and adhering to safety and food-handling guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Restaurant experience preferred, but not required.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Wash, sanitize, and inspect dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans and restock as needed.
• Operate dishwashing machines, maintain chemical levels, and follow safety guidelines.
• Unload clean items and place them in proper locations.
• Inspect washed items and rewash any not cleaned or sanitized.
• Maintain a clean and organized dish room, workstations, and kitchen equipment.
• Follow all safety, sanitation and food-handling rules and guidelines.
• Follow proper soaking, knife handling procedures with gloves when appropriate, and sanitation standards.
• Bag and remove trash and dispose at designated times.
• Maintain sanitary workstation areas including tables, shelves, walls, grills, fryers, ovens, and refrigeration.
• Ensure adequate levels of clean tableware for dining room and kitchen.
• Follow instructions from management and be available to fill in as needed.
