Job summary

Hawthorn Senior Living in Johns Creek, GA is seeking a reliable dishwashing and dining support team member to help prepare, wash, and store dishes, assist in bussing and serving, and keep tables and dining areas tidy.

You will contribute to a clean, safe kitchen environment, follow Hawthorn procedures, and work closely with the culinary team to support residents’ dining experiences. This role offers cross-training and a collaborative team setting.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• General knowledge of cleaning and sanitation.
• Maintains food handlers permit as necessary to fulfill state or provincial regulations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, wash, and store dishes following Hawthorn Senior Living procedures.
• Assist in bussing, serving, and delivery of room trays if needed.
• Setting of tables in the dining room and assisting Chefs/Cooks with cleaning areas and equipment.
• Complete dishwasher temperature log at required times.
• Work as part of the food services team to ensure smooth, efficient, and safe operation of the kitchen.
• Adhere to safety and sanitation practices and treat residents and staff with dignity and respect.
