Job summary

ESS Canada is hiring a Kitchen General Help to support daily operations, including cleaning, food preparation, serving meals, and dishwashing. The role requires following safety standards and food safety procedures while delivering meals and maintaining quality.

Responsibilities include packaging, stocking supplies, and operating in different workstations. A Food Safe certification and strong English communication are preferred, with casual, 12-hour day shifts and local applicants encouraged to

Qualifications

• Food Safe certification.
• Strong time management and organizational skills to manage workload.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team setting.
• Good command of English, verbal and written, and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Previous food service experience is an asset.

• Food preparation and cooking as needed.

As Kitchen General Help you will be responsible for supporting our daily operations with a wide range of tasks such as cleaning, food preparation, serving meals, and dishwashing.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Dispense food for next day of production and plate individual meals.
• Conduct work in accordance with safety standards.
• Store food in designated areas following wrapping, dating, food safety and rotation procedures.
• Perform general cleaning duties; remove trash and garbage to designated areas.
• Dishwashing and other tasks as required.

The hourly wage for this position is $21.00.Final compensation will be determined based on relevant skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity.
