CaptiveAire is seeking a Fire Systems Technician to join our service team in Portland, Maine. The role centers on installing, inspecting, and servicing kitchen fire suppression systems at multiple sites, with mentoring and formal training.

You will work outdoors, climb ladders, and use hand and power tools, with travel for training and ongoing field support. Safety and delivering high-quality service across our product line are essential to this role.

Qualifications

• Experience in fire suppression (kitchen, sprinkler, alarm) installation and service.
• Knowledge of electrical systems.
• Ability to read commercial wiring schematics.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds independently and use power and hand tools.
• Must be safety-minded.
• Work in outside conditions and in tight spaces.
• Passion for work with aggressive nature to succeed.
• Willing to travel for various training opportunities.
• MUST BE A “GO GETTER”!

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, and service kitchen fire suppression systems.
• Develop and maintain service schedule.
• Prepare and submit job reports and invoices daily.
• Develop Preventive Maintenance programs to potential and existing customers.
• Pull permits (license required).
