Job summary

Sodexo at SUNY Oneonta is looking for a Utility Worker to support kitchen and facilities by maintaining cleanliness and sanitation throughout food production and service areas.

You will wash dishes, sanitize work surfaces, mop floors, restock supplies, and assist with setup and breakdown as needed. A high school diploma or GED is acceptable, with reliability and physical stamina emphasized.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of sanitation procedures and basic food safety.
• Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Washes dishes by hand or in a dishwashing machine.
• Cleans and sanitizes tables, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks.
• Sweeps, mops, and vacuums floors; removes trash.
• Restocks cleaning supplies and maintains storage areas.
