Sodexo at SUNY Oneonta is seeking a full-time Utility Worker to support kitchen and campus facilities. You will help keep food preparation and service areas clean, sanitized, and organized, contributing to safe, efficient operations on shift.

No prior experience is required beyond a high school diploma or equivalent; you must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. We offer comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth within Sodexo.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of sanitation procedures, to include basic concepts of food safety.
• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• No related work experience required.

Responsibilities

• Washes dishes by hand or uses a dishwashing machine.
• Cleans worktables, walls, refrigerators and meat blocks.
• Sweeps, mops, vacuums floors and removes trash.
• Cleans equipment with sanitation chemicals and restocks supplies.
• Assists with setup and breakdown tasks as directed.
