Job summary

Lexington SNF Healthcare, LLC is seeking a Dietary Aide General Purpose to support daily dining operations at Lexington Post Acute. You will learn food service routines, set up meal trays, assist with serving meals, and help maintain a clean, sanitary kitchen under supervision.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and the ability to read procedures and recipes. You must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, work cooperatively with staff, and obtain a food handlers certificate.

Qualifications

• Language Skills: Ability to read technical procedures and follow recipes.
• Mathematical Skills: Able to apply fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions.

Responsibilities

• Learn food service routines quickly.
• Set up meal trays.
• Strip down returned trays and wash dishes.
• Assist with serving meals.
• Check chlorine concentration and water temperature of dishwashing machine.
• Operate dishwasher.
• Prepare nourishments and snacks.
• Sweep and mop kitchen.
• Carry out trash and garbage.
• Put groceries away safely.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen and assist when called upon by cooks.
