Job summary

Lexington Park Assisted Living is seeking a Dietary Aide to assist in the kitchen before, during, and after meals. You will help maintain clean work areas and equipment, support meal service, and assist in cleaning and sanitation tasks as directed.

The role requires reliability, the ability to follow established policies, and basic English literacy for daily tasks and communication with residents and staff.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Basic computer skills are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Comply with the Community’s personnel, safety, and corporate policies and procedures.
• Report witnessed or reported allegations of resident abuse/neglect immediately to the Executive Director, RCC or Unit Manager.
• Treat residents, family members, visitors, and team members with dignity and respect.
• Maintain the confidentiality of all resident and family information.
• Report to work on time and as scheduled.
• Follow safety regulations and infection control policies at all times.
• Assist in serving meals and pouring beverages; prepare and serve in-between meal nourishment snacks.
• Assist in daily or scheduled cleaning duties and keep work areas clean and safe.
