Job summary

Liberty Healthcare and Rehabilitation Services is seeking an experienced Dietary Aide to support the dietary team in a patient-centered setting. The role involves assisting the cook, following menus, serving meals, and maintaining sanitary, safe food service for residents.

You will help wash dishes, sanitize areas, and assist with meal preparation as needed. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with the ability to lift up to 30 pounds and read diet cards in English.

Responsibilities

• Provides assistance to the cook on duty with non-cooking duties and supports sanitary, safe dietary conditions
• Follows planned menu and prepares food and beverages according to recipes and procedures
• Provides food service to residents and assists in serving beverages and tray cart
• Washes, rinses, and sanitizes dishes and utensils
• Cleans and sanitizes work areas
• Assists with duties of the Cook and Assistant Cook in meal prep
• Performs other duties as assigned
