Job summary

The Lismore Hotel Eau Claire - a DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel and ECDC - Coffee House is seeking a Kitchen Crew-Prep Member to assist with breakfast items, grab-and-go options, and daily prep. You will stock supplies, rotate inventory using FIFO, and keep the kitchen clean and organized to support cafe operations.

Responsibilities include following established recipes and portion standards while maintaining strict food safety practices in a fast-paced hotel cafe setting.

Job description

The The Lismore Hotel Eau Claire - a DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel and ECDC - Coffee House is hiring a Kitchen Crew-Prep Member.

The coffee shop food prep worker prepares breakfast items, sandwiches, baked goods, and ingredients. They keep the kitchen clean, stock supplies, and follow food safety rules to support daily cafe operations.

Food Preparation: Chop, slice, and wash fruits, vegetables, and meats for daily use. Make grab-and-go items, breakfast sandwiches, and paninis to order or stock display cases

Inventory & Stocking: Track ingredient levels, unpack deliveries, and rotate stock using First-In, First-Out (FIFO) methods. Stock the service counter and cold display units

Sanitation & Safety: Clean and sanitize counters, cutting boards, and equipment. Wash dishes, empty trash bins, and log refrigerator temperatures

Ability to prepare food according to established recipes and portion standards

Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation practices

Ability to maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Strong attention to detail and organization

Dependable and punctual

Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

Ability to stock, rotate, and properly store food and kitchen supplies

Ability to follow food safety, health department, hotel, and ECDC standards

ServSafe certification preferred, but not required

Compensation

$14 per hour
