Kj’s Market is hiring for a kitchen position to set up and stock stations, prepare a variety of foods, and ensure quality and safety in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes following Kj’s and Bluebird Kitchen specifications, maintaining cleanliness, and delivering guest service that aligns with company standards. Training and growth opportunities are available within a family-owned operation based in the Carolinas.

Qualifications

• Friendly, outgoing personality.
• Effective communication and guest service skills.
• Ability to work well in a team.
• Must be able to lift 25 lbs consistently and 50 lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Set up and stock stations with supplies.
• Prepare food for service (vegetables, meat, sauces).
• Prepare meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, dairy with kitchen tools.
• Process prepared foods for service using standard equipment.
• Ensure items prepared per recipe and Bluebird Kitchen standards.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary workstation and equipment.
• Stock inventory according to standards.
• Ensure food quality, safety, and timeliness.
• Maintain sanitation per Floco Foods standards.
• Provide guest service aligned with company standards.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
