Job summary

Kj’s Market is hiring for a kitchen/prep role to efficiently produce assigned menu items while adhering to Kj’s and Bluebird Kitchen specifications. You will set up workstations, prepare diverse foods, and maintain clean, sanitary conditions to deliver high-quality products.

Qualifications

• Friendly, outgoing personality and ability to engage guests.

• Knowledge of kitchen operations and food safety basics.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs consistently and 50 lbs occasionally.
• Must be at least 18 years old and able to stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies.
• Prepare food for service (e.g., chopping vegetables, butchering meat, preparing sauces).
• Prepare a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, dairy, and other items using standard kitchen equipment.
• Process prepared foods for service using standard kitchen equipment.
• Ensure each item is prepared per recipe specifications and Bluebird Kitchen Manager guidance.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation during and after service.
• Stock inventory according to standards and systems.
• Ensure quality, food safety, and timeliness of products.
• Maintain safety and sanitation per Floco Foods standards.
• Provide guest service consistent with Purpose, Priorities, and Service Standards.
• Ensure product quality for sale meets standards.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management staff.

• 8. Ensure the quality, food safety/sanitation, and timeliness of products served.
• 9. Maintain safety and sanitation throughout the department according to Floco Foods standards.
• 10. Provide guest service consistent with our established Purpose, Priorities, and Service Standards.
• 11. Ensure the quality of product for sale meets Floco Foods standards.
• 12. Perform other related duties as assigned by the management staff.
